  • “Short Link” means a shortened URL created using our Service that redirects to a destination URL.
  • “Destination URL” means the original URL to which a Short Link redirects.

  • “Content” means any data, text, links, or materials submitted through our Service.

3. Account Terms

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

5. Link Shortening Service

Our Service allows you to create Short Links that redirect to Destination URLs. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your Destination URLs.
  • We may collect analytics data about clicks on your Short Links, including geographic location, device type, and referrer information.
  • We reserve the right to disable Short Links that violate our terms or receive reports of abuse.
  • Short Links may be subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan.
  • We do not guarantee permanent availability of Short Links for free accounts.

6. Subscription and Payments

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

  • Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LynURL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYNURL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers.
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service.
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted through the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LynURL and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law
